Last night Arundel & Walberton voters rewarded Green candidate Cllr Steve McAuliffe with an astounding 48% of their votes. Cllr McAuliffe received 873 votes to the Conservatives 549. November 28, 2024: Chichester & Arun Green Party - county council candidate hustings

Hustings for WSCC candidates
In May 2025 the whole of West Sussex will be going to the polling stations to vote for a brand new West Sussex County Council (WSCC). We're planning to stand excellent Green candidates in all divisions, and have a number of target divisions in Chichester and Arun where we will be campaigning.
This meeting will be a chance for members to hear from our potential candidates, and vote in support for their candidacy. If you have a question for the candidates, please contact us before 27 November. Members are entitled to one vote for each of the divisions, and a link to vote will be emailed to you after the hustings.

We look forward to welcoming members from all the branches that we have had the privilege to work with this year.
Our Vegan bring and share supper will also be a competition and we will be offering prizes for the best vegan sweet and savoury dishes as part of our "Vegan Bake-Off"!
We will also be hosting an "Activist of the Year" Award Ceremony as we honour those who have gone to super-human lengths in the name of forwarding the cause of the Green Party and other causes that our activists are involved in.
